December
2001
December 2001 Bike of the Month belongs to Chris Baker of the United States. He has built himself an absolutely wild machine. |
Starting off with the bodywork. Tyga Performance was called upon for their experience in custom NSR bodywork kits and accessories. The unique TYGA EYES upper cowl is based on the NSR 150SP but designed to fit NSR 250 models and retain the stock lower cowl. The headlights and screen are borrowed from the 150SP as well. |
Looking down at the bike shows the RS top clamp. Front fork adjusters and RFV 400 mirrors. The digital metric speedometer has been converted to MPH for use in the USA with a Motrax in-line converter. |
A custom made front cowl stay tucked away gives this NSR the appearance of a floating upper cowl. It was fabricated by Motomorphic, a custom and race prep performance motorcycle shop in California. |
Every month I will try to feature a different NSR or NSR's in this section. Above you can check out this month's featured bike of the month. Do you think your NSR belongs here ? Then send a few pictures and some information and maybe we can feature it here. Mail to me here. Thanks |
