The KZ-2 features the same frame and fork as the KZ-1. All components are the same with the exception of the VX crankshaft which is replaced with a one piece Takagi Cro-Moly crank with steel pedals and the Redline V-Bar is held by a Cro-Moly Kusuki stem. The KZ-2 was aimed at bigger, heavier riders and could handle slightly more abuse than the KZ-1 Full specs below for the KZ-2, click on the below images for a larger size. The below specs are from an old issue of BMX Action Magazine. There seems to be a mistake about the KZ-2 stem which was actually a Cro-Moly Kusuki stem not the SunTour Power stem. The SunTour stem was used on the KZ-1 models. |

A old ad for the KZ-1 and KZ-2. Note it mentions the KZ-2 comes with the Cro-Moly Kusuki stem while the KZ-1 had the SunTour stem. |
