| This is one of my most prized BMX bikes. It is a very rare first model Kuwahara BMX. This was simply known as just the Kuwahara BMX bike or the KE-1 from the factory. It was made in the late 1970's and was discontinued after a short time as the single front gusset would crack under stress. This bike was replaced with the KZ-1. Welcome to Project KZ-1. This was a four part project that took up most of the year 2005 and was a very fun project for me that I really enjoyed. I did my best to restore the bike to close as possible stock specs from back in those days. Click here or on the picture for more about this cool project bike. Thanks to everybody for all their help.
